BMC – Project Samarth (Mumbai)
The Aditya Birla Education Academy, in partnership with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, is driving a multi-year initiative to strengthen classroom practices across Mumbai’s 24 wards. Through structured training, classroom observations, and continuous mentoring, 1,457 teachers have been upskilled in advanced pedagogy, 21st-century teaching strategies, socio-emotional learning, and technology integration.
Gujarat – Curriculum Development Project
Under an MoU with the Government of Gujarat, ABEA is leading the redesign of the Science and Mathematics curriculum for Grades 6–12 across Gyan Shakti residential schools. The team has completed comprehensive Structured Lesson Plan Manuals and developed teacher training modules aligned with GCERT’s competency-based frameworks.
With formal recognition from GCERT and integration into state-level academic committees, ABEA is contributing to curriculum reform, question banks, pedagogy workshops, and large-scale instructional planning. The ongoing work sets the foundation for statewide curriculum modernisation.
PCMC – Project Samarth (Pimpri Chinchwad)
ABEA’s collaboration with the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation focuses on enhancing instructional quality through subject-specific training for over 1,000 teachers across 107 schools. The programme delivers more than 190 hours of development in lesson planning, assessments, innovative methodologies, and digital tools.
Bihar – FLN (Buniyaad) Training Programme
ABEA, in partnership with the Bihar Education Department, is implementing a large-scale upskilling programme in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy across all 38 districts. The initiative has trained over 1.2 lakh primary teachers, supported by 50 facilitators delivering weekly, activity-based training under the Buniyaad 1 and Buniyaad 2 frameworks.
With 38,150 teacher assessments completed and 20,531 educators showing measurable improvement, the programme has earned strong appreciation for its practical, classroom-focused approach.
Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation – Capacity Building Programme
ABEA’s capacity building initiative with the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation focuses on strengthening pedagogical practices across primary and secondary classrooms. Through a structured series of 40 training sessions delivered between January and March 2025, the programme upskilled 41 teachers from seven municipal schools in languages, EVS, Science, and Mathematics.
The collaboration reinforces ABEA’s commitment to enhancing instructional quality and empowering educators with practical, future-ready skills that strengthen learning outcomes across UMC schools.
